Dog Age

I asked Mother last night how old the mistress was. She doesn't know. But she assumed that in DogYears, she must be 4 and a half years old.

I was amazed. Mistress must have had lots of puppies if she were a dame! (Mother told me that female dogs can be called "dames" and male dogs are "sires." The B!@$H term for female dogs are totally offensive, so she says.)

If I were a young human, I would have been 4 months and 9 days old. That would be quite young, compared to Mistress' age.

Mother told me an interesting detail. DogYears are different from HumanYears!

1 HumanYear is equal to 7 DogYears. So since I was born on March 6 this year, that makes me - as mother said - a human infant.
